Does working out affect your golf swing?

This summer I am working out and golfing. I was wondering if the weight lifting that I do affects my golf swing in a bad way?

  2. if you are bulking up it can definitely lessen your flexibility

  3. yeah it will build more power and flex.

  4. If you "bulk up " too much  it will effect  your game. One needs a certain amount of flexibility offered by the longer muscles. However strengthening the legs has a positive effect because your stamina is improved, the leg strength will add distance as well as a solid base for the turns.

  5. It can if you don't stretch on a regular Basis ( Everyday ) ! You do not want your Muscles to get tight because it will affect your swing !

  6. Yes it will affect your swing. Whether good or bad will depend on the type of exercise.  If golf specific you will be fine and improve.

  7. It actually does a huge bunch in your game. it gets you stronger. but the main you thing you need to worry about is stretching. If you dont stretch your muscles get tight and everything will start to hurt.
