Does world vision actually use its money to help poor/hungry kids?

my friend told me that it used it to pay its workers and hardly any of it goes to the charity..

anyone know?

In most charities this is true. The workers have to get paid for their work(they don't have to, but they do)

Then the rest of it goes to charity. Sometimes that is big and sometimes it is small.

The people who help the most is the salvation army. Their workers make hardly anything and they help out so much.
