Does writing college essays make you feel self-absorbed?

I feel bigheaded and self-absorbed when I look at all these adjectives I've put in to make myself look like the best guy in the universe. How about you?

haha yes, I'm trying to edit mine now so I don't sound so full of myself. but what do they expect when they ask you to write about yourself lol
