Yes Games do runs faster on XP cause XP is a more stable operating system. XP takes less RAM to actually run the OS so more RAM can be used to play games and run applications. Vista takes 1GB of RAM just to run it OS. XP takes only 256 but 512 is recommended to make it stable so with 2GB of RAM on XP means that games and applications run much faster and hardly ever crash.

Yes i have checked games on both the Operating Systems with the same Configuration and Settings XP wins

In general, yes.  Any OS that uses less resources will leave more available for games.

Of course, there are DirectX 10 games that will not run on XP.
