Does yellow5 contains any ingredients that comes from animals,speachially from pig, is it suitalbe for veg.ppl

Does pepsi coca cola, lycozade, etc contains ingredients come from alcohol,wine, or spirit or does it contains ingrediants come from animals speacially from pigs,,,,,,,,,does spirit classified as the member of alcohol n wine group, does it work exactly like alcohol n wine..........waiting for the answers, many thnx

Yellow 5 is also known as tartrazine.  It's derived from coal tar, not pigs.  So it doesn't have any animal products, but it's still not great.  It causes more allergies than any other dye.
