what color was their hair when they were born?

my has light brown hair and he is almost a week old, but in the sun it looks as if it has a redish tint....only in some spots though. its really weird.

or did your baby have bright noticable red hair?

I have red hair. None of my daughters(3) have red hair. My brother had reddish blond hair when he was young, but not now. It is totally sun bleached blond. He does lawn maintenance in Florida. His son was born with very light red hair. Now his son's hair is very bright red, handsome kid.

I have blonde hair, my husband has brown hair, and our two kids are both red heads. My daughter started with this dark redish brown hair that in the past 3 yrs has turned to a beautiful red. Not to dark but not bright orange. My son had more of a red fuzz when he was born that we thought was going to turn blonde but he's almost 2 now and he's very much a red head.

my daughter is 15wks now was prem by 10 and she is bright red when you hold her up to the light it glows lol. my partner has brown hair and i have blonde my other daughter was the same and she is now 3 but its gone to a strawberry blonde.

My husband and I both have dark brown hair.  Our son was born with really light, reddish hair.  I guess my grandmother had red hair when she was a little girl.  It is strange how the different genetic traits show up in your baby.

My husband and I both have brown hair, and my little girl was born with bright red hair. Your lil one might have some reddish undertones to his hair, or it might get darker later on, only time will tell :)

I have red hair and my daughter has red hair, and yes, she had noticable red hair when she was born. Not a lot, but you could tell it was red.

I have strawberry & very light brunette hair (it's not blonde) lol it's a weird mix. always has been.

my husband has jet black hair.

my sister is the redhead in the family...BRIGHT red. her son is also redheaded.

my mother has hair the same color as mine. and my dad has light brunette colored hair, they had me (strawberry/light brunette) my sister (redhead) and my brother (blonde)

I have red hair, my fiance had blonde hair when born and now it's brownish.  My baby was born with dark brown hair.

I was born with super blonde hair, my husband was a major carrot top, and as for our son....it looks like he has light brown hair, but he too looks to have a reddish tint to his hair if he is in the right light

i have brown hair. my daughter had brown hair when she was born now its more of a reddish tint light blonde and my partner has a red tint to his hair. but it looks like our daughters hair will be red red.
