  1. I hear ya. Im the same. I have also shifted to a new town and so I dont get to see my friends and family as much as I would like and our baby pretty much only sees me and my partner. Sure on weekends sometimes we go visiting and she gets to see some new faces and you know what I have noticed. She often gets really cranky when other people are handling her! I think she is starting her shy stage early (she is 3 months also) and I think it may be because she dosnt get to experience other people much. I was thinking about joining a mothers group to try and get her some experience with others- especially other babies.

  2. My baby is almost 3 months, and normally she only sees me and her father. She does okay with small groups of people. Try to take her out at least once a week, like to the store. It doesn't matter if you don't need anything, I think it helps just to have her around people. Also, I don't think the people-shy thing will be an issue until she gets a little older (maybe 6 months or so) and can really participate with the world and pay attention to things.

  3. I myself am not a people person, and I am not really close with much of my family, so we do not get out often. My 4 year old is a very social child and when we do get out, he picks up with kids really quick and is not shy at all... which worries me sometimes because he is not afraid of anyone, even adults, LoL. My youngest is 22 months and is not shy at all as well. While I do try and give them a social life, circumstances do make it pretty hard and we don't get out much, but when we do my kids have no problem socializing. I would not worry at all.

  4. i understand completly, try to meet mommies nad babies around you (mommy and me classes) and just get him exposed to different people. he is still young and can hardly see you as a seperate person so dont worry.

  5. My son sees me, his dad, my neighbor and friend Lisa and her daughter Ruby on a daily basis.
