For the note, we Irish simply call the languge 'Irish' or 'Gaeilge'. NEVER Gaelic. (Where do people get that from?!)

'cuir chugam an bainne, le do thoil' - its very useful, it means will you pass the milk please

'Is fearr liom beoir' - this might be more useful, its I'd prefer a beer
