Does your Maine Coon cat 'plop' down too?

Question

Every time I pet, acknowledge, or look at him a certain way, he basically 'falls' over or flips himself on his side. I have seen a couple of other Maine Coons do this same thing. I never see other breeds of cat do this and I work at a cat shelter, so I am wondering if it is exclusive behavior to Coonies. What are your experiences whether it be The Plop or something else? I love hearing stories about them, they are riots! Thanks!

I have a big fuzzy cat that I'm still decifering if she's a Norweigan Forest Cat or a Maine Coon.  They're very similar in build and characteristics (but I'm more convinced she's a Norweigan).  But anywho, she flops down all the time.  And always just barely out of reach. >.<
