Question:

Does your baby still like to be swaddled?

My daughter is 5 months and still loves to be swaddled. Her father and I have decided that we'd start trying to get her to sleep other ways, but it's so hard because she always wakes herself up if she isn't swaddled.

Anyone know if there are any bad things that can come from keeping a baby swaddled while they sleep? When we swaddle her she goes right to sleep as opposed to not, which takes us sometimes up to an hour to get to sleep.

  1. She's already 5 months old. That means its normal if she like sleeping like that but the other thing is she don't have freedon to streched her joints and not get used of sleeping more than  one position.

Try put her to sleep with a blanket on top of her body.

  2. as soon as my son learned to wiggle out, he refused to be swaddled. i think he was like 3 months or so?  i dont believe there is anything wrong with it.

  3. nope.olivias 3 months and has hated after she started moving her arms and legs around.

  4. yeah  my son lol he's  almost 6 mos old and loves it actually at times he thinks i am playing with him (a game perhaps)

  5. It gives them a sense of security when they are swaddled and they sleep better and longer swaddled.....I swaddled all 4 of my sons and now my grandkids....as long as her face is uncovered and she is able to breathe air and not just in her blanket then she/he is fine just make sure they are clear from the face up to breathe fresh air.
