Does your bbt temp get high befour period ?

i had a m/c the begining of june on the 8 got a D&c on the 9th .i got AF a month after exactly im only 2 days late right now and im usally early .i just started using fertilityfriend to pinpoint my ovulation and ive been doing my bbt.befour i ovulated its usally around 97.1 to 97.8 for the past week or so it been 98 to 98.3 i had spotting one morning but didnt even need a liner .i havent taken an hpt yet because i dont like gettin to excited for - .do you think there is a chance i maybe pregnant due to the info i gave ..

Your body temp will rise when you ovulate and it MAY rise again if you are pregnant.  It will usually DROP when you are about to start.  Here is the reason for that.  When you ovulate it causes your body to start producing progesterone and that is what makes your temp go up.  If you have implantation it may cause your body to produce more progesterone, therefore making your temp go up again.  When you stop producing progesterone your body responds my starting your period.  If you have been taking your temp the whole time and have had 18 high temperatures after you have ovulated you are either pregnant or sick.
