  1. Yes she does. I've had bosses that did not and it sucks. Most often only you and your boss know exactly what it is that you do and other people have only and idea of what they think you do.

  2. Yes, because he knows that I am trustworthy and would never lie to him (even if I were in the wrong.)  If I make a mistake, I own up to it.

  3. You bet.  Loyalty is hard to come by in today's society.

  4. Yes!! He's the best boss in the whole whole world! :)

  5. My ex-boss did - the VP

however, my direct supervisor hated me due to his envy towards the VP favoring me.

  6. My last boss refused to stick up for me even when he knew the other person was being an @$$ and was lying through their teeth.  So I packed up all my personal things, loaded my car, emailed my personal files (time sheets and stuff like that) to my Hotmail account, printed out my time sheet, made him sign it, and walked out the door.

This had been an on-going problem with this guy and I had already told him, very bluntly, that I would not work for him if he wasn't going to grow a pair of balls and defend his employees against lies and false accusations.  So it isn't like he didn't know I wouldn't walk out.

Bosses who throw you under the bus are far, far more common than bosses who have the decency to defend you.  So when you find a good one, stay there.

  7. No my boss is a dork.  You're lucky to have a good boss.
