Does your cat chatter at things too? When does your cat chatter and at what things?

Mine chatter at bugs they are chasing and one of them chatters at his laser toy and his play mouse. It's so cute. I've had cats for years and years and not one of them have ever done this until now. I never knew what they were doing before. It is sooo cute.

My sister's Bf chatters at birds.

it makes sort of weird chattery noise to get the bird to pay attention.

and when the bird comes down to see what it is..

pounce cat eats it!    pretty gross huh?

i dont know why exactly maybe its just something they do?

Lizards and birds and little flying things. She kind of talks to us too sometimes, although it could just be my imagination.

Mine chatters at squirrels!  And seagulls!  She gets all excited by them both and makes the funniest noises.
