  1. yes. mine requires it, and i'm glad. that way, the parents can have some control over what their child does and doesn't eat, something necessary in the event of any allergies the child may have.  


  2. I know of daycare who have the same meal for all the children but they shouldn't disallow a lunch from home if you feel it is better for your child. I mean you are the parent. The center where I work- the parents have a choice- send a lunch or buy what ever the hot lunch is for the day.

  4. Yes, the daycare requires us to pack his lunch and snack. They don't allow meat, which is a pain, but I usually pack a veggie burger, chopped steamed vegetables, cheese and fruit.
