Does your guinea pig ever?

Question

does your guinea pig ever sqeak when she or he is hungry? How about when he or she is being picked up. MY guinea pig always sqeaks when i pick him up. My friend says my guinea pig is not normal because hers doesn't sqeak but i dont believe her. So how abbout yours does it sqeak at all?

Your guinea pig is normal.Mine squeaks too.When shes hungry,being picked up, she squeaks.

Just Spend more time with here so she gets used to your smell when shes being picked up. :D

My sister had a guinea pig, and it ALWAYS squeaked.  It would squeak when it walked around on the ground, and would make this strange noise in the back of her throat when she ate.  It's normal for guinea's to squeak.

yes every time i go to pick my Guinea pig up she squeaks and when i hold her she squeaks very lightly she also squeaks when i walk up stairs because their based on their hearing and she recognizes my footsteps.

my guinea pig makes like a screaming noise when they need food or water or hay and keep doing so if they dont get what they want. but one of my baby piggies squeaks after i pick him up and im holding him. he such a cry baby. lol

your guinea is normal, your friends, who knows, my two guinea pigs make all kinds of noises, you are probably talking about their happy squeak. this site lets you listen to the different sounfs guineas make.

my boys squeak whe we open the fridge door or rustle a bag, because they think its food and they are ALWAYS hungry.

2 of my boys dont squeak when we pick them up but the other one does, dont know why, we think he is a little neurotic anyway lol.  think its normal xx

don't worry, thats what they do! They squeak when happy, hungry, for attention, some can be very talkative.

my guinea pig squeaks, to talk to me or to let me know when they need a refill on water or food, they also squeak when they are happy, there is nothing wrong with it. It is a way to show affection. sooooo adorable.
