  1. Races like a racehorse. No way to fix it unless you become less nervous with time and practise.

  2. The more you answer the easier it'll get. When you're confident you have the answer put your hand up so as you are prepared to speak. The teacher is only trying to engage the students by including you,if he/she doesn't then the students will not pay attention. It's for your own good, honest, and also you are not the only one who feels this way. Good luck.

  3. I was shy in elementary school.  My heart rate did increase when the teacher picked on me to answer.

When I got older, it went away.  I guess I had more confidence in myself.  Before I didn't, and that's why I felt that way.

  4. not me, cause at my school they only pick you if your hand is raised, and i only raise my hand if i no the answer

  5. Yes, this is completely normal. It is because you are nervous.

There is nothing wrong with you, and there is really no need to "fix" this problem. In high school I was considered the best speaker in the school, but every time I spoke my heart was racing. You just need to learn to become more used to speaking in front of people and under pressure. You don't have anything to worry about. The only way to improve is through practice. Don't be scared to answer questions or speak in front of the class or the teacher. Just try to relax, and the more you do it the easier it will become.
