Mine does despite double glazed windows. I live in the country and my experience is that houses most certainly get dustier than urban dwellings. I'm waiting for the farmer to cut the sillage in the field at the back of my house so perhaps that will help to make it less dusty.

Wooden floor boards few carpets.

  1. yes..especially the table.

  2. Oh yes!  I hate dusting!  I have some sanded floors and an open/real fire place so these do not help lower the dust levels.  Also I have a cat....

  3. We live on the 3rd floor of an apartment building that faces a major interstate...I dust everyday!

I can dust at 7 am and by 9 am it looks like I haven't touched anything.

  4. Yes very especially wooden floors!

  5. if you live on a gravel/rock roads that causes even more dust..with the wind blowing th gravel dust around as well as when people drive past your home on the gravel..the dust goes through cracks in your windows or whatever.  I don't live on gravel and only get lots of dust if i leave windows open or curtains open.

  6. Grow Thick trees and bushes and cover the garden with green grass.

  7. yes!!

  8. Hi Nettie, how old is your A/C unit? After several years, they accumulate dust in the A/C ducts, and as a result constantly blow a fine mist of dust every time it cycles on. A good thing to do in this case is to have a duct cleaning company come out and vacuum your A/C system. Then begin using a good paper filter instead of the usual spun fiberglass type, which allows particles through, causing the dust to recycle.

    Hope this was helpful!

    Good Luck,  ;-)
