Does your knees hurt when ur ganna et taller?

bcuz my parents say if your knees hurt you will get taller and im 16. my knees havent been hurting since i was in the 6th grade and im going to the tenth grade so do you think im still going to grow and does your knees have to hurt to grow

There is a thing called growing pains wich is when certian people are growing they get pains in differant spots most of the time the knees but when you are growing you dont necesarily get pains only I would say about 20% of people get "growing pains"
