Question:

Does your lawyer have the right to file a continuance w/o your permission or doing things without in....?

My husband went to the hearing on the specified date and the judge said that our lawyer have already filed continuance and it was sheduled next month.I am wondering if lawyers can do that with out informing his client,our lawyer has been postphoning the hearing and we only knew it after the facts.
