Does your mind or your heart speak more to you?

Our minds and our hearts do speak to us.  The mind speaks to us with questions unanswered, or with an accumulation of facts, theories, and hypothesies we've come across, beginning with the moment we become aware of our surroundings.  The heart though, speaks to us with what we feel, what we want to feel, how we think we should or should not feel, and our level of guilt or lack thereof reguarding how we have handled various situations in our lives.  It speaks to us about how we want others to feel, or how we think they should feel.  The hearts speaks of feelings real or imagined. The heart cannot be trusted.

My mind. When my heart speaks, I listen. But the matters of heart are, by the nature of man's consciousness, set by his metaphysical values and his epistemological principles. So my heart doesn't have much to say that contradicts my head.

It is people who are unsure of their convictions, or who hold contradictory ideas, who battle between their hearts and minds, because the matters of the heart cannot be determined from a chaotic mind.
