  1. Mine did not have blood in it.  Good luck and congrats!

  2. No it does not have to have blood in it. Mine and a few other women I talked to had brownish mucus plug with no blood. Good Luck looks like you will be having a little one soon.

  3. I "lost" part of my plug two weeks before I was due and was convinced that my daughter was coming any day. There wasn't any blood just a lot of goop. Two weeks went by and I lost more of it WITH the blood streaks when my water broke. How exciting! I wish you luck I know you must be going crazy! :-)

  4. Nope. I lost mine a week ago and it just looked like 2 big globs of clear snot. No blood what so ever.

  5. No, it doesn't always have to have blood.  It can be clear or cloudy.  As for when you can go into labor - it's not an indicator of anything other than the fact that you're probably dilated to about 2cm.  It could be another week or two before you go into labor.  You cannot judge one pregnancy to another.  Each one is completely individual.

  6. No it won't necessarily have blood in it. Some women's have a lot of blood in it others just streaks and still others have no blood in the plug when they lose the mucus plug.

  7. Mine didn't. I have heard that they can have streaks of blood in them.
