Yea it does, I know it has to due w/ the cord & I try to stay away from it.  It's like the stuff you get in your tonsils (flem) that stinks too.  Why we were given stinky things I'll never know.

Most People's Navels don't stink.. Next time in shower or bath, take the extra time to wash that area

My navel doesn't stink,

but your navel stinking probably isn't too big of a deal(:

Just swab it with a Q-Tip and hydrogen peroxide every once and a while,

to rid germs...

i also think that you should take a bit of extra time in the shower,

thats a good place for bacteria to hide and that can lead to an odor.  but it is also possible that you are washing it too hard or the soap is too strong. the skin in your navel is very sensitive. when you wash too hard you are washing away good bacteria. when the good bacteria is gone it can lead to skin infections, most common is a yeast infection (yes its possible). if this persists you should see a doctor.

No, mine never stinks!

It is probably infected..

You could take a q-tip and clean it with hydrogen peroxide a couple of times a day to kill germs.
