Does your postman or delivery man leave your packages out in the rain???

I can pick up most of my packages at the post office because I put my post office and home address on things. On the occasion I have a special delivery though, there have been times when the delivery person has just left my packages on the steps in the front of the house... that we never use... instead of the porch with the table and such, and I didn't realize I even had anything until I was out walking. I don't think they should be allowed to do that... anyone could take your package or a neighborhood dog could come snatch it up and shred it to pieces before you ever know the package even arrived.

most of the time the will cover it in plastic if it is raining

only if I am not home.  i usually send orders to my office.
