Does your pulse runs faster when you are lying to someone?

I have heard that there are few machines which can actually check whether the person is lying or not.... are the result of those machines 100% correct???

  1. These machines are called polygraphs and without trying to trick them they are 96% accurate, accounting people who try to trick them they are less than 50% accurate. They measure a number of things but theres basically one way to beat them and that is to relax when you lie and clench your bum muscles when you tell the truth, what an analyst is looking for is changes in the reading, if theres no significant change then you wont be able to say someones lying. Clenching your bum makes you tense in the same way a lie does (has an effect on pulse, sweat, blood pressure etc).

  3. Yes. You can even test it on yourself and lie to yourself once and tell the truth next and you will see that your pulse changes.
