Does your rabbit ever sleep?

Question

I have NEVER seen my pet rabbit sleep... EVER. I know he does, he needs sleep to survive, but in all the years I've had him (and other rabbits for that matter) I've never actually seen him sleep. I see him laying down but his eyes are never closed. I'm just curious to see if anyone else has never witnessed their rabbit sleeping.

i almost never see my guinea pig sleep. but i know it does.

because whenever im almost about to see my guinea pigs cage, my guinea pig wakes up. i know because i saw her close her eyes  and lie down... and then she woke up. maybe they dont like it when you look at them sleep haha

i've seen mine sleep. in fact, its sleeping more often than its awake.

He probably sleeps when you are not there, or when you are sleeping!

Maybe it sleeps when you sleep, you could always stay awake and watch for 24 hours to see when it sleeps...Or maybe he IS sleeping when he's laying down but you wake him up when you go to take a look at him rabbits have good hearing   :o)
