Does your school use intel core 2 duo 45mn or core 2 quad processor?

Our IT teacher say celerons are too slow, Pentium D get too hot. Our IT teacher has gone crazy with processor he told the school about. Slow wasting valueable learning time etc.....

why would schools waste money on computers with processors they don't need, a single core will do fine, the PC's in school are not meant for gaming

School computers are not there to be gamed on, they're there for education.

My school has:

Intel Pentium 4 D - 1.8GHz

512MB RAM

On board Graphics card.
