Does your signing bonus change if you op for R.I.P?

I currently have an 11x contract with an opt 4 but i have a pretty S****y signing on bonus, will it change if i volunteer for R.I.P. Cause from what I'm aware of when you go R.I.P they re-do your contract and you have to sign-up for four years.

No, just do your time and get out.  That's the smart thing to do.  Been there done that.

Your bonus won't change, but RIP can allow you more options at the time of unit selection, provided that you pass Ranger school.  It's tough and it will suck sometimes, but if you have the drive and determination it will be worth it.
