  1. I hope so. If reincarnation is real, I'd hate to have to learn all of this c**p all over again.

  2. where exactly IS the soul?

it can't been seen in xrays or blood tests.

  3. Hello,

This is a great question & something I have often wondered about myself. Here is what I think about it:

First, the human mind is incredible. It can store memories (just like a computer hard drive can store information). I once heard that your mind could potentially replay every event in your life like a movie. I am not sure if that is true, but it is interesting.

So I think everything significant in your life, is stored in  your brain. In terms of people with Alzheimers, they actually still have the information in their brain. However, their neurons do not fire properly & their brain no longer works properly. So they lose mental function & forget things. But the memories are still there, it is just that the firing is faulty to retrieve the information (some speculate that it is due to a collection of alluminum in the brain preventing neuron firing).

So yes I think our soul/minds can remember most significant things in our life, some things we may forget (especially details), but they are still stored in our minds--it is just that our minds can't fire & retrieve the info.

As far as the question people sometimes ask about how God could resurrect us after our brains and bodies deteriorated. God resurrects us from His memory, not ours. So it doesn't matter if we are decayed or whatever. Just like wifi internet. Someone could hack your computer, and record & watch everything you look at while you surf the web. If your computer bites the dust, it doesn't matter because the person watching you recorded everything.

The brain emits brainwaves, perhaps God records our brainwaves. Or maybe He just knows everything because He created all matter and is interconnected with it, therefore He knows our every thought, etc.

Anyways, great question and I hoped that helped give you some things to think about.

  4. I think it is our mind which we use for recall.  Our soul is who we are.

  5. Since the Creator of the human helps us to understand that we ARE a soul, we don't have one, (Gen 2:7) then, yes, I, i e me, remember what I have done in my lifetime. To an extent anyway. It all depends on the how the memory part of my brain is functioning.
