If you have a t******e removed from testicular cancer does your sperm count decrease?

  4. It will drop but only for a short time.

    The pineal gland is monitoring for the right amount of testosterone, like a thermostat in the house for keeping temperature up.  If there is a drop as would happen in losing one nut, that gland will signal the pituitary gland to call for more testosterone.

    The endocrine chemical sent out by the pituitary gland will cause the remaining t******e to increase in size and production until it can reach the amount of testosterone that the endocrine glands are calling for, and at that rate, the single t******e will be able to meet the original amount of testosterone and sperm.

    The doctor can put in an artificial t******e to balance the look, and the whole body will be business as usual.

    That's why we have 2 testicles in the first place, ...incase we loose one, the remaining  one can pick up the full load of the original pair.

  6. Most definitely....but you could still successfully father a child, so i would not worry about it too much...just be glad that your cancer was caught in time!
