  1. She is old enough to know what no means

  2. omq I'm an uncle and babysit alot for my niece and yes its so annoying!!!

  3. My daughter will be 3 in 2 months, and she is doing this just now. At first I was like oh my... she has ADHD or something. But she doesn't. It's perfectly normal according to her health nurse. They are amazed by all the wonders of the world and want to see them in action all the time, obviously once they realise one of those wonders made their movie go away they freak out a little and cry, I think they really think it might never come back at first lol. You have to just say no to certain things. If she turns off the T.V. after begging for it to be on then just refuse to turn it back on and ignore the screaming and crying, walk off and do something, then try and engage her is something else other than a movie for a little while, then eventually turn the movie back on as a treat for settling down and reading or whatever you did with her. My daughter has stopped with the turning movies on and off now after I did this a few times. She still closes and opens doors and presses other buttons lol. But one thing at a time...

  4. Oh yes they love things on and off it gives them a feeling of control

  5. yes. now that' he's a few months older he has gotten over most of these things. it's good for them.

  6. Mine used to do that constantly. It was the most annoying stage of his life I think. Especially the lights.

They do it because they are learning how it works though. She will stop eventually after the new discovery of it wears off. Until then just be patient and keep telling yourself that's how she learns about the way things work.

  7. Yep!! Totally normal.  I am going through this right now with my 2 year old.  My oldest didn't do any of this so it's all new to me!  Good Luck!!

  8. I think this is normal - or else my son is not! (My baby has been doing this since he was 1!) He likes to turn my laptop on and off too and drop things into crevices especially into hard to reach places (like between the sofa or bedpost and wall). So I wouldn't worry.
