my kids wake up round 7.30am( 3/years old)

go to school by 8.45am back by 12.30pm.

then at 4.30 they go for drawing class and are back by 6.30pm/ drawing teacher also teaches some school stuff but its more of fun.

Well... they sleep by 8pm. Im worried ..is staying awake ok for their growth?

i try everyday to make them sleep in afternoon... but well.. never suceed.

can you tell me what is your pre-schoolers routine?

  1. i have a 2 and 4 year old and they stay up all day and they have tons of energy. i take them to the park and let them run around and they usually don't fall asleep until around 9, after a bath. my kids are very health and full of energy, so i think your kids will be fine...their just growing up.

  2. I wouldn't worry about it. If their bodies need a nap, they'll take a nap. If they don't, it's okay too.

  3. At age 3, some toddlers do not want to nap; however, they may be more cranky in the evening if they don't nap.

  4. my 2 year old some times naps in day before 1ish any later than that she wont sleep till about 9/10 at night

if i keep her up and busy at day she goes bed by 7pm and sleeps til 6.30am even if she has nap in day and goes sleep later she still is usually up before 7am...

  5. i have four kids they are all different if you have any serious concerns ask your doctor but other than not that i dont think its a big deal if they dont nap there going to bed a good time also dont worry theyll be fine

  6. My children are all up by 6:30 am.  My 9 month old takes two naps a day (10am & 2:30pm).  My 2 yr old has a nap at noon.  By the time that your child is around 18 months they really only need one nap during the day.  But by the time a child is three they will most likely dicontinue naps all together.  If you feel that your child needs more sleep then you need to cut out some of the activities.  A child requires more sleep than an adult by far.  If they do not get the sleep they need they tend to be more irritated and naughty...lol.  I found this link, check it out!

  7. I think they'd be fine. In fact I have a three-year-old that stays at daycare, and they MAKE him take a nap and I hate it because he won't go to sleep until 9:30-10pm.  On the weekends we don't make him nap and he goes right to sleep! Sounds like your kids are doing fine. Sleep by 8 pm? Enjoy it!
