Question:

Does your toddler still sometimes "spit up"?

My son was running around some this morning after downing his glass of milk and eating some cheerios. When he leaned over the side of the couch while he was running around, he burped and had some stuff come up with it (maybe a tablespoon full of what looked like spit up). He went right on like nothing happened and isn't acting sick or anything and no fever. Has your toddler ever done something like that?

  1. My son is almost 15 months and yes he has done this..Its a combinaton of eating and playing that  leads to a bit a burpage with a surprise lol...Nothing to worry about it happens.

  2. No, but yours probably did with too much running and high activity level after eating.

  3. that happened once to my daughter for the same reason running around a lot after eating she didn't spit up much and it didn't phase her at all either. I'm sure he is fine.

  4. That use to happen to my son all the time when he was a toddler. Now at 16yrs, he often will turn to me and ask for something to drink with a disgusted look on his face because he burped and stuff came up into his mouth.

Its a mix between running around after eating and getting a big burp. Nothing to worry about.
