Does your voice changes when you interact with different people?

Mine does. I don't know if its normal or odd. Because when I talk to classmates I'm not really close, my tone is sort of soft and whisper like, unlike when I talk to my friends its bold and kinda high and to my not so close friends a bit deep and controlled. I'm not doing this purposely but it's more like it just happens and I can't really control it.

In different situations people act and speak differently.  I think it's  down to how comfortable you are i.e. you feel a lot more comfortable talking to your friends and so your voice is bolder and louder.  Yet you don't feel as comfortable talking to your class mates so your voice is soft and quieter.  It's the same with things like job interviews or approaching someone you are attracted etc... :-)

when i get nervous like when speaking in front of a group of people,  my throat becomes sore and i find it hard to speak and when i get out of that situation, it becomes normal like nothing happened

It is normal that you sound different when you talk to different [groups of] people because you, even subconsciously, want to leave a different impression on them, and voice is a part of impression. It also has to do with how close to them you are, because the more you know someone, the more relaxed in their company will you feel, and that also influences how you sound.

And did you know (a bit of trivia from my side ;), most people's voice sounds different when they speak in different languages?

Not only does my voice change, but I have different dialects for differents sets of people.
