Because if this is the real price, getting into Le Louvre in Paris is really cheap for a combined ticket! Compared to museums in the US.....

  1. yeah!!!!!

  2. That's about right at the interbank rate. If you're changing money yourself you probably will get a rate that is not quite as good.

  3. The dollar is so weak it will be $40 by the time you get there.

  4. Yes but it's very expensive. Most of the biggest museums in France are free the first sunday of each month.

  5. yes it's the real price

  6. Yes, French museums are far cheaper than their American counterparts. This price includes the Louvre and the Delacroix museum.

The Louvre alone is 9 € or 6 € on Wednesday and Friday nights (after 6:00pm) and the Delacroix museum is 5 €.

The Louvre and other national museums are free for people under 18. It is also free for people under 26 on Friday nights and for everyone the first Sunday of each month and on July 14th.

Some Parisian museums are free (Carnavalet, the museum about Paris, for instance, as well as the Cluny museum of the Middle-Ages - until June 30).

If you like 19th century art, go to the Orsay museum, here are the prices:
