Doesn't Palin exceed Obama in executive experience?

She leads one of the biggest states in the Union (BTW, there are 50 states, not 58!).

She leads a large military, the Alaskan National Guard.

She shows up to work and doesn't vote PRESENT, she leads.

Oh, BTW, she will be VP, not President!

Obama showed up to work 143 days in 3 years...votes present 1/2 the time...balances NO budgets, makes NO executive decisions, FOLLOWS Pelosi's lead...that's embarrassing.

Doesn't Palin exceed Obama in REAL executive experience...and she is going to be the VP!

  1. Why havent we heard the term imPalin enter the cultural dialogue yet?

Like "mmm Im going to do me some imPalin tonight!

  2. You have nailed it and the Obamabots will not even get it

  3. Alaska is 47th in population...it's large in geography, but small in population.  She has never stepped foot into Congress, yet a VP's main job is to be the President of the Senate.  Obama has proposed/supported twice the bills McCain has (http://www.govtrack.us/congress/person.x... & http://www.govtrack.us/congress/person.x...  Also...McCain has missed 64% of the 110th Congress' votes http://projects.washingtonpost.com/congr...

And just to address Palin's experience...Alaska is one of the most fiscally irresponsible states in the Union http://www.iser.uaa.alaska.edu/Publicati... [PDF].  And if you consider mayoring in a town of 8,000 and governing for less then 2 years, with a true population of less then 400,000 real executive experience...more power to you.

  4. I have been running a house for 10 years, balancing a budget for 10 years, traveled to Europe and Mexico, do I have more executive experience than Palin?

Sorry but No, she does not.

  5. u forgot to mention that the population of alaska is 600,000 compared to 2,000,000 in chicago alone.. so stfu noob

  6. Just from Obama running a 50,000 employed campaign force over the last two years trumps nearly 10 fold her exposure and experience as a mayor of a tiny town.

And as for the 1.5 years as governor, how hard could that be with only 650k people in the entire state? I pass that many people going to work on a 10 min drive.

  7. No. And your weak attempts to make it seem so just belie your desperation at McCain having made a horrible choice, nice try. She's my governor, but I would never vote for her as VP, I just know too much about her to care for her that much and her parenting skills have us all asking questions.

  8. She didn't even have an American passport until 2007.  I'm no Obama fan, but Palin was a horrible choice.  The choice should have been Mitt Romney, who has governed a state of six million (instead of a state with the population of El Paso), and managed a private equity firm (Bain Capital Management).

I doubt Palin even knows what private equity firms DO.  Despite their importance to the American economy.

She is terribly inexperienced, and was a horrendous choice by McCain.

  9. All good points.

  10. Yes, Absolutely, Without a Doubt, I Agree with everything you said, I will always agree with everything you say, think and do...!!!   :)

    MCCAIN / PALIN '08

  11. And Sarah Palin's so-called "executive experience" covers over her "shady past" such as:

1.) Sarah Palin and her husband belonged to the Alaskan Independent Party, an extremist political organization that is fighting hard to secede from the United States of America and instructs its members to infiltrate the major US political parties to advanced their agenda.

2.) Sarah Palin is responsible for bring $6.9 Milliion dollars in "earmarks" to her State of Alaska during her time as Mayor of Wasilla and Governor of Alaska....She is no "newbie" when it comes to playing the Washington DC lobbying game because she is using "special interest" lobbyists for her own interests.

3.) Sarah Palin was the director over Alaskan Sen. Stevens "527" Group (that is the Senator under investigation for taking "bribes" for building his nice Alaskan home). She was responsible for "fund-raising".

This is why GOP/McCain camp representative stumbled during his "media grilling" by Campbell Brown.

Now, tell me if this sounds like a woman who knows how to "wheel and deal" in the turn around and deal the American public a bunch of bull....

  12. Hmm. when do you children go back to school?

  13. YES and you also need to realize she is not running for President while Obama is

  14. Leads the biggest state....with one of the smallest, most homogeneous populations.

She "commands" the Alaska National Guard only when it is NOT in active federal service.

And John McCain (72 and a cancer patient) is rather likely to be incapacitated or "off to greener pastures" before his term ends. And clearly, he's already losing it mentally by springing this risky choice on America.

  15. Palin is the better candidate by far. More _real _ experience and no terrorist friends.

  16. http://news.yahoo.com/s/bloomberg/200809...

The bettors think McCain might drop her, and they also think Obama is guaranteed to win it all.  Thank you Sarah Palin.

  17. she leads one of the largest geographical states but alaska has less people than most cities... this was a pathetic pick by mccain...

  18. i agree with most of the answers on here. just because she was the governor does not make have more executive experience. a state with a pop of at most 600,000?!!! please. we know youre gonna vote for mccain but most ppl are for obama as you can tell....so who cares!

  19. 1. One of the biggest states in the Union but with the second smallest population (equivalent to that of a mid-sized city)

    2. Even the head of the national guard said she has no foreign policy experience

    3. Go research McCain's absent status (he has been absent more times than Obama over the last couple of years)

    4. McCain is 72, there is a good chance that she might be President

    5. Nice way to frame your argument but she does not have as much experience as Obama in politics. She has more experience running a government but has only done so for a short time and runs one of the smallest state governments. Obama's district has more voters than Alaska.

  20. Yes, she does.
