Doesn't it always seem to rain when the clothes on the line are almost dry?

Oh just had my wash out had one load on the line still with one on the way and the one was just about dry and the heavens opened up and it started chucking it down! Doesn't that just annoy you and why does this always seem to happen grrr!!

You are being selective. If it was raining and there were no clothes on the line, you would not say "that's typical!" If there were clothes on the line and it was sunny, you wouldn't say it either. Therefore:

Sunny, no clothes out - fine

Sunny, clothes out - fine

Raining, no clothes out - fine

Raining clothes out - that's typical!
