...always butts his nose into boxing business, like the press conference for the Hopkins Calzaghe fight etc?

He always acts like he's a proper boxer, even though the Rocky series were great i think he's milking them too much like he's a legend in the sport.

Even when Hopkins faked a low blow from Calzaghe last night Stallone was crying foul play when he didn't even see it clearly!

He needs to mind his own business, there's only so much publicity you can draw from such film series until it just gets boring.

  2. 100% agree

i found myself shouting at stallone more than Hopkins!

    fair result in the end.

  3. Yes....Adrian..Adrian....like in Rocky....let it go now Sly...

  4. i thought it was hillarious the way he was flapping his hands about,,but still at the end of the day he never been in proper boxing match so what does he know about it,,

  5. He was annoying when he had a go at Joe in the middle of the fight when Joe shook his **** at B-Hop. Great Actor but leave it to the experts.

  6. are actors all of a sudden not aloud to do any thing other than act?!?! has it ever occured to u that manybe sly was into boxing and this is why he decided to write the rocky series.  I no he isnt the best boxing expert but i beleive he was a fan before he was in rocky.  he even got the idea for rocky by watching a chuck wepner fight! who watches a wepner fight if u r not a fan.  he has boxed in his youth and completed a boxers work out for the rocky films so it is fair to say that he knows his stuff.

  7. While Stalone is not a true boxing expert.....he does know a lot more about boxing than Whitney Houston & Catherine Zeta-Jones who were both ringside---the replay clearly showed the " phantom " blow was boeserline at best & Sly is entitled to his own opinion

  8. The trutht is that sly has always felt like a legitimate boxer ever since rocky, he always sides with white boxers and yet pretends that race has nothing to do with it, remember cooney vs holmes? stallone did the exact same thing back then, sometimes I wish he was a real boxer in the eighties so that Tyson would have put him in his place.

For God's sakes just look at the movie  Rocky Balboa:

The old Rocky dukes it out  with Mason "The Line" Dixon , an undefeated black man who, though prodigiously gifted, has never really been tested. That's because up until now he has only battled tough black men in their 20s, but has never had to face the ultimate test: a 10-round bout with a decrepit Caucasian restaurateur pushing 60. Rocky II was insane, Rocky III and IV were even more insane, and Rocky V was really insane. But the incoherent, heart-tugging Rocky Balboa takes insanity to a whole new level that will only be surpassed when rocky balboa finally comes back as a ghost in Rocky XIII: Even When It's Over, It Ain't Over.

This guy actually believed that Gerry Cooney would have a chance against a prime Larry Holmes! i mean what the  heck!

  9. Yeah, he does know quite a bit about the sport and has done a considerable amount of training for the movies and knows what it is like, and besides........It's Rocky?
