Doesn't it surprise you that Jamba Juice is using Splenda?

Splenda has been found to have side effects like rashes, panic attacks, headaches, dizziness and numbness, bladder issues, intestinal cramping, diarrhea, muscle aches, and stomach pains. And even though this may not happen to everyone who consumes it, that doesn't mean that it won't have any long term negative effects.

Jamba Juice preaches "your body is a temple" and so on, and it really surprises me that they would use a dangerous artificial sweetner like SUCRALOSE :(

  1. No

  2. No, it doesn't surprise me at all. There's much more money to be made for Big Pharma in "treatment", rather than in prevention or cures.

  3. no.  not really.  plus a little splenda  isn't going to hurt you.  it's basically the same as sugar,  but it can't be digested so it passes through your body.

those side effects are probably extremely rare.  infact,  i haven't heard of anyone having them. there are lots of foods that a few people have some bad reactions to (peanuts,  shellfish,  refined sugar ect...),  but it doesn't mean companies shouldn't offer foods with those ingredients.
