No, because I am pretty sure he is getting better millage than my monster station wagon, but mine is faster, handles better and can carry 7 adults in comfort.

As long as he's spending his OWN money I don't care.  Don't like SUVs?  Don't buy one!  The biggest problem with the whole enviro movement is that it gives busybodies and wannabe tyrants an excuse to micromanage our lives.

Maybe they just dropped off their six kids.  Get a life and find something else to think about.  I got rid of my SUV for a smaller car.  Thinking I was doing good for the enviroment, then found out I was pregnant, now we are all squished like sardines.  Wish I had my SUV back :(

Only when they are towing a boat or camper. Then I get PO because I'm not going with them.

Not as much as listening to people pontificate about how green they are because they drive 50 miles round trip to work in a Prius which they park in a garage that 2 years ago was a wooded area.
