Doesn't "lol" seem to get annoying sometimes???

sike its g*y how people can't make a joke without saying "that was a joke" its the same way with saying lol after everything that may not even be that funny

I do use it a lot here.....usually sarcastically.

Actually, I don't see it used very much in this forum.  I do use it myself, rarely, but ONLY if I have ACTUALLY laughted out loud!  I do attempt to be HONEST about my responses.

Otherwise, it doesn't bother me too much... not here anyhow.

You should be grateful. Back in the day we weren't allowed to abbreviate and so it made a pain in the *** to type out "Laughing out loud" during chat sessions (which were conducted via electronic typewriter, I'm proud to admit.) So no.
