  1. It's in Genesis, and by "cursed" it means pain during child birth. I love being a parent and wouldn't have it any other way.

  2. Shame your mother didnt keep HER legs together...

  3. I see that you are a young childless woman, who hasn't experianced the joy of labor....well neither have I, but through the pain I know that I will see the joy of having my own child!

  4. If woman didn't have children then humanity wouldn't exist any longer.  It is a blessing from God that woman can produce more children to keep humanity alive.  Woman have the proper body parts to bear children men don't. Could you imagine a man having to push a baby out his p***s lol not that would be a curse of child bearing lol.

BTW I have 3 bibles in my house and none say anything about woman being "cursed" with child bearing.

  5. The Bible says that women will have pain during child birth, that is the curse as it reads. Children are a blessing, but when Adam and Eve screwed up, God decided to let all the Eve's forever suffer through childbirth. It's in Genesis. Hey, you are/were a kid, your mom suffered, okay?

  6. Children are a blessing. It's the pain that you have to go through to get them that is the curse. From experience though, I can tell you that once you hold your baby, all the pain disappears. P.S. Im trying to find the bible verse...I'll post later if I find it!

  7. Wouldn't know anything about that.........

  8. The curse wasn't the child bearing but the pain in doing so.  One can assume, that prior to that, there was no pain involved.  Proverbs compares children to arrows and then says that to have a full quiver is a blessing from the Lord.  The command given to the first couple was to be fruitful and multiply, after the fall God did not redress the command, He only added a stipulation to it...it will be painful.  According to my wife, even that pain is easily forgotten...for the two children after the first she got angry at me and asked why I had not reminded her of the pain before we decided to have another.  To quote my college football coach...pain is temporary but glory is forever...No thumbs down here my friend, you don't know (apparently) so I don't hold it against you.

  9. because its their children, they love their children so they consider them blessings not curses. Maybe child bearing could be a little bit of a curse lol  atleast for my mom it was, she had a really hard pregnancy and promised herself never to have another baby after me but then she changed her mind because i was such a blessing (yes i was) lol. And so she decided to have "just one more" and prayed she would live through it lol.

  10. Doesn't the bible say that women are "cursed" with painful child BIRTH ???
