Doesn't the song 'The Sash' have a beautiful melody?

Seriously, I agree.  I often find myself whistling it whilst going about my daily business.  I also think the rhythm of the lyrics is excellent.

I think the "slash" is a fab wee tune , right up there with last seasons belter "We Surrender" !!!! It may well have a melody but it's lost in all the hatred and vitriol that's spat out by the people that tend to sing it !!!
