Doesn't this irritate the c**p out of you?

You go to answer a question and you go through all the work of writing an answer and then the question is deleted for some stupid reason! I just tried to answer a question entitled: "Why would one parent say this about other parents?" It was about discipline. I go to answer it and it says it's been removed! Why do people report questions for stupid reasons?

Yes it is very irritating to the point I may give up this site. I asked a question that was not derogatory and base on facts pertaining to Bushes record on capitol punishment cases when he was Governor of Texas. It got reported for unknown reason and I tried to get it reinstated. All that happened is I was asked the same thing over and over again till I gave up. If you can not ask or answer a question in sincerity without somebody reporting it, why bother. Then some of the most ignorant misspelled question go through.

Yes it does annoy me, especially If I've taken the time to write a good answer. That particular question was obviously reported because the person copied an answer of another user & posted it on her question....that does violate the community guidlines.

If you don't mind me asking..  "About me: I'm James. I say what I want to say and I don't regret anything I say. Like it or not, too bad for you." Why do you sound SO defensive in your about me? I find it quite odd considering  your a newcomer.

Often times it's the questioner that removes their own question, usually because they don't like the responses they are getting.

Funny but you are talking about my question!  Well I don't know why people report questions because they don't like the content.  If they don't like it, then they don't have to answer it or even read it.  I especially hate it when I took the time to give a well thought out answer if it's important enough of an issue.  I pretty much know who deleted it, but it's ok.  It just shows that the person is not very secure with themselves and is afraid of criticism.  I can deal with some criticism now, but I hate it when people make rude/ignorant statements regarding other parents' discipline techniques.  

D*Kat: I didn't know that putting part of an answer was against the rules here.  I really had no idea it was.  Thank you for letting me know and I will remember that in the future and will refrain from it.

Yes, it does.  I answered that question, too but I was lucky enough to get my answer on there before it got deleted.  That has happened to me before and it is so irritating!

People get questions deleted that they find offending...that could mean any question on here since everyone  could be offended by at least one question!
