Here in Germany, they don't usually have what Americans know as barber shops, places frequented only by men.   Hair salons are unisex.  The only places I know of that do shaves and haircuts just for guys are the Turkish barbers.  I've seen something like that on TV.  There they can even burn the hair out of your ears with flaming cotton balls!
