I have a Les Paul Custom Shop "Black Beauty" which I paid about $3300 for. I really love the guitar, and it has and excellent sound. The only thing I hate is that Im afraid to play it, because I dont want to scratch it or ding it. I already put a microscopic ding in it that is barely noticable, but I dont want to mess it up. So mostly I just play my Jackson Dinky which I dont really care about. I want to get a Les Paul Standard that I can play without having to feel like im going to mess it up. Does anyone else have this problem?

  1. PLAY THE GUITAR!!! if you don't use it, what will it do?Wait for another sencury so somebody can play it? don't care for messing up the guitar, if you realy love playing the gutiar, then nothing should stop you!!! if you use it now then it will be already used and then you can enjoy and not be afraid of scratching it! the good guitar is not good if you pay it 3300 dolars and if you don't use it, you shouldn't even care for that kind of guitar. the realy good guitar is the guitar that you play every day and that was and is a good instrument. That's the kinda guitar you should care for!!!

  2. yes it does suck, you are so afraid to scratch it that you wont play it. get a Gibson starter kit (guitar, case, picks, strap, and instructional video for about $100) and play that, save the $3300 when you are playing in front of like 50 people.

  3. no just play it

  4. you should play your guitar cuz it is something u probably love to do so dont stop doing that if you love playing it
