Would be a good fight.  I don't think Cotto has a chance though.  I don't think Cotto has ever been knocked down he will go down if he ever fights Mayweather.

The more I see of Mayweather the more I realize the power this guy actually has.  Put that with the speed I knew he has ---he is the real deal.

Great clip, it make me want to see a Mayweather/Cotto fight all the more.  I hope it happens, time will tell, I cannot believe Mayweather will retire without answering the questions at welterweight.  If the Margarito/Cotto fight had a co-main event featuring Mayweather/Clottey and both Cotto and Mayweather managed to win, the ensuing Mayweather/Cotto fight would break a lot of pay per view records and make both of them enough money to even satisfy Floyd.  Mayweather is so close to boxing immortality, it is a shame he got distracted by something as immaterial as mere money.

Man, I hope it's inevitable that they fight.

it will happen summer 09' the weekend b4 the pr day parade maybe even at Madison Square Garden Floyd will fight Cotto to quiet the whispers and outside of Vegas which people say is his comfort zone. Floyd will win, he doesn't have as much power as Cotto but he just has too much everything.

Nice video clip. It definitely makes anticipation for a match that much greater. Unfortunately, we'll have to wait til probably Summer of 2009 at the earliest, assuming things play out right for both men.

gman, you've obviously never seen Cotto fight. He has been knockdown and has come back to destroy opponents. He's been stung but he's come back to beat opponents. Besides, it's not that Cotto hasn't fought anyone like PBF, PBF hasn't fought anyone like Cotto. Power in both hands, and not a pitty patter like Hatton! With real punching power!
