I think in California people are used to it cause there are tremors nearly  every day, and i think that a massive one will hit California next year cause they are due for a big earth quake and people do fear this that might happen in the future

As a former resident of California, of course people worry.  We also worry about fires, automobile accidents, muggings etc.

I was sitting on my bed watching tv  once when I felt a strange shaking sensation.. it lasted about 15 seconds .it was probably a quake but it was not anything like a panic feeling.  Just about every location in the wold has potential catastrophes....the best you can do is learn the proper safety  procedures if it happens.  You can't live your life in fear.

I prefer worry about earthquake than worry about tornado/hurricane. Much rarer.
