Doesn’t Johnny Murtagh deserve a sainthood?

I’m gonna ring up Pope Benedict and ask for Johnny to be made Patron Saint of Punters.

Wot a jockey! While Manning got into all sorts of argy-bargy, Johnny was clear of all the trouble keeping it nice and simple. I’m almost halfway to heaven watching Johnny go!

Oi! you beat my Lush Lashes by a head, but it couldn't have been done by a nicer guy in the form of Mr. Murtagh I could forgive him anything, especially as he rode such a brilliant race on the adorable Sixties Icon yesterday giving me a nice winner.

Kieron Fallon has no chance of getting his old job back now and what a shame that he messed up on his career for a bunch of sleezy cheats, he was a great jockey himself, but that's racing and he well knew the consequences of his actions.

Back to Sir Johnny (there I've knighted him now just like yourself), because you can't be made a saint unless you are...you know what, and we want him to live a long long life and ride many more winners.  ....Jacqui x
