  1. Buy plenty of those chew bone and place them in the areas of the house where your dog will pick them up to chew and make sure to pick up anything else that she/he will want to chew and keep them out of reach. Eventually all it will get will be her/his chew bones. It help us and saved lots of destruction she might have caused.Good Luck.

  2. Get pasta bones/ shoes they help maintain good teeth in your dog plus keep your dog busy chewing. You can buy these in a pet store or local supermarket.

  3. Well i don't have a dog but i  have a 6 month old kitten :P And my gran owns a dog i think what she did with her dog was to give it a dental stick or something to chew on.. and be careful of being bitten  it hurt a lot when a dog bites :(

  4. hide your slippers,

    haha,

well a good tip is to give him leather to chew on thats what we did with our staff because its soft enough for them to chew without breaking his teeth (like he did lots of times) because their milk teeth fall out gradually anyway, but yea, make sure you dont leave him on his own for too long either because they get very frustrated at that age and tend to eat and chew anything in reach! but good luck he sounds cute you should show us a pic id love to see him! =]

  5. I have a little piece of advice for anyone with a teething puppy. My six month old pup has just gone through her first teething stage and I was quite surprised how much trouble her siblings were causing their owners with their teething. Not many people seemed to realise that their dog actually was teething to start with and I heard a lot of complaints about how the dog is destructive and chewing everything in sight. It really amazes me that people still consider getting a dog without learning the slightest thing about them first. Anyway, when Poppy started teething I bought a cheap packet of tea towels for her, I soak them in water then squeeze them out and put them in the freezer. It makes a very soothing chew for the pup and keeps the gums cool at the same time. I've never had a problem with her chewing anything else, she now has a lovely set of teeth and I never lost a single piece of furniture. I hope this will be of use to others. The other thing you can try is to buy a KONG I use the kong toys from Pet shops to keep our dogs quiet when we are out. Stuff these with cheese or sausages and the dog spends ages trying to get them out. I also use a blue kong type toy from Tescos and also sterile bones from wilkinsons.
