Does anyone know of any reliable dog breeders in orange county? I am looking for a small or medium size breed. Thanks

this may sound funny but go to www.poopbutler.com and in the ( Dog Services & Pet Supplies Directory in calif). And click on dog breeders and pure breeds. This will give you a list of breeders in Calif.

Figure out a breed you want.. then use www.akc.org to use their breeder referral service.

Helping someone search for a reputable breeder is easier if you know what breed you are interested in.

why don't you try checking with rescue organizations for the different breeds you are considering, or make a trip to the local shelters. there are thousands of great dogs needing homes (25% are purebreds too if that's important to you). don't encourage the backyard breeders by allowing them to profit financially when millions of animals are being euthanized. :( save the life of a homeless dog, you will not regret it. :)
